The open
design of the control system provides a platform with potential and
makes it easy to adapt to changes in manufacturing requirements. The
robot has extensive communication capabilities with serial links, network
interfaces, PLC, remote I/O nd VME-bus interface. This makes it simple
to integrate the robot in both small manufacturing cells and large scale
factory automation systems.
The operator
is assisted by messages in plain language and function keys for operation
and production supervision. the programmer is supported with windows
to simplifiy programming and process tuning while the process technician
sets the process functions in dedicated windows.
